This report details the results of an online public opinion and stakeholder survey conducted from April 6 – May 11, 2015 regarding the hiring of Chris Mullin as St. John’s University’s next Head Men’s Basketball Coach

ABSTRACT

Research Purpose and Methodology

Research Purpose: This research was conducted to understand the opinions of St. John’s University (SJU) students, alumni, fans and the public at-large regarding the hiring of Chris Mullin as St. John’s University’s next Head Men’s Basketball Coach. Respondents were asked to answer a variety of questions related to their opinions and behaviors related to Men’s Basketball team and the Athletics Department.

Research Methodology: Data was collected through an online survey distributed by posting a link to the survey on SJUrelated group and community webpages (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter). In addition, the link was distributed to stakeholders through internal and external university communication channels (e.g., email, posting) by individuals directly affiliated with this research.
